The Project Manager is responsible for launching and managing sales development projects on our clients' behalf. You will be responsible for supporting a team of five Business Development Specialists (BDS) and liaising with other groups within TSL to leverage our resource base for your client. Apart from getting the best out of your BDS team, a key element of this role is comparing the performance of all elements of our clients sales cycle against industry benchmarks, and identifying ways for our clients to improve their sales productivity. As a Business Development Specialist (BDS) you will work with TSL's IT clients to help them identify and engage with major sales opportunities across Europe or North America. You will conduct this through a combination of Internet research, data profiling and most importantly, cold calling. More than simply generating leads, you will engage with our clients' sales staff and business partners to help them move the opportunities you identify forward in the sales cycle. This will include becoming involved in the initial stages of the sale, and making recommendations for how TSL and our client can improve the business development process.
